Sunken ships, lost treasures, airplanes and even cars are fascinating sites to explore and are usually filled with marine life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for a new discovery.
To dive on a sunken wreck is to take a trip back in time. Exploring and diving around an underwater museum is a temptation many divers just cannot resist. Whether sunk on purpose, like our main wreck, Tabaiba, or lost at sea due to an accident or a conflict, wrecks are a fascinating window into the past. Providing shelter for many different species and full of aquatic life as well as history, wreck diving is great for everyone who loves exploration and excitement.
However, there are some potential risks too. But don´t worry, in the PADI Wreck Diver Speciality we will teach you everything you need to know to safely explore those sunken treasures. From planning, mapping and navigating the dive, right through to the save penetration and exploration of the inside.
The Wreck Diver course consists of four Open Water training dives, which we normally conduct over a period of two days. The instructor ensures that all dives are kept within the No Decompression Limits (NDL), always starting with the deeper dive.
